2 bunks in the Science Pod were assembled by 2 by 4’s and plywood. They are positioned under the 10’ horizontal sono tube that runs above them and that sono tube connects the Control Room and the Science Pod...having the bunks under the horizontal sono tube saves valuable floor space in the space ship.
